HarvardSpeakers.com was a very popular Harvard Alumni discussion group of Harvard Alumni Speakers founded by John M. Kocol, ALM Harvard, Thesis, "Federal Reserve Expansion in Mexico" with Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) Professor John Womack, Jr. as Thesis Director. Unfortunately, Harvard ended up deleting all of those very popular discussion groups, so on 1/21/2026, John decided to apply for Shared Interest Group (SIG) status for HarvardSpeakers.com, which will become a nonprofit Harvard Alumni Speakers SIG that will help Harvard alumni, Harvard students and Harvard staff, improve upon their speaking and presentation skills. 

This was taken from the old HarvardSpeakers.com website (which has been updated on 1/21/2026), "The HarvardSpeakers.com discussion group as of 8/10/13 had approximately 150 members. Update, 2/8/17, Harvard closed all of the alumni discussion groups when the University upgraded the Alumni network.
